Glencoe Lochan this evening, with the Pap of Glencoe behind, it’s an enjoyable stroll, all level with lots of seating around, to relax and take in the views and wildfowl.
Garbh Eilean Wildlife Hide
A lovely circular drive to the wildlife hide today at Loch Sunart, managed to see common seals, heron, oystercatchers and a little grebe.
A wander along the Caledonian Canal today
We went for a stroll along the Canal today, with views to the Nevis range and lots of wildfowl to look out for, it’s a nice relaxing wander.
Inchree Falls
A New Years Day walk today, parking at Glen Righ Car Park (a red squirrel viewing wall is here), then walking up through the forest to Inchree Falls, great walk and great waterfalls.
Up on Cow Hill
We wandered up to Cow Hill today, lovely views over Loch Linnhe and Fort William one way and Glen Nevis and the Ben the other, spotting a deer topped it off.
The Jacobite
Off on the Jacobite today, absolutely fantastic! over the Glenfinnan Viaduct, alongside lochs and sandy beaches, finishing up at Mallaig, a lovely port, with great seafood on offer.
